Might as well give Chicago Parayko.
I'm not claiming that contract
I'm not claiming that contract
Players who are claimed off waivers must be offered to the other teams that placed an original claim before that player can be traded. If Chicago do acquire Parayko he will be available to trade
Players who are claimed off waivers must be offered to the other teams that placed an original claim before that player can be traded.
For example, if a player is placed on waivers and three teams place a claim on him. The team lowest in the standards gets first dibs. If they then decide to trade the player, he would first have to be passed on by the other two teams. If a team places a claim, he’d be theirs. If not, he can be traded.
So nah. He can’t be traded because I will be taking him for free on SJ.
Want OEL? LolThat's fine, we'll keep him for a while and he can enjoy the pizzas here.
Anyone interested in a lightly used Seth Jones? Anyone? Hello?
This kind of thing is absurd and ruins the game.
Roster update:
We have signed Alex DeBrincat to 8-year extension (8.500m AAV)
We are also placing following players to waivers:
- Colton Parayko - 7 years left - 6.500m AAV
- Torey Krug - 4 years left - 6.500m AAV
- Nick Leddy - 3 years left - 4.000m AAV
- Marco Scandella - 1 year left - 3.200m AAV
- Jordan Binnington - 4 years left - 6.000m AAV
With the lack of offers, we now face the tough situation of forcing some roster changes to try and kickstart our rebuild. We are hoping to find new homes for these players in a more fitting environment.
How does this ruin the game? Anaheim grabbing Krug and Chicago adding Parayko? This kind of thing is absurd and ruins the game.
I'll respond to you on here too as it's not really anything i need to hide. After consideration, Chicago rescind their claim for Parayko. Krug could actually get waived but Parayko is a bit ridiculous. I think he should clear for the sake of the game.
He means waiving all those playersHow does this ruin the game? Anaheim grabbing Krug and Chicago adding Parayko?
I get it, perhaps it's a bad look to put all these players there at once. But like mentioned before there were no offers on any of these players and i'm running out of the retention slots so moving any of these players would have been impossible because they all have trade protection and likely aren't waiving them for rebuilders. Atleast one of them refused to waive. I have younger D's that we want to insert into our line-up straight away and this is really the only way to do it. Leddy will likely stay on our roster short-term if he isn't claimed but Scandella for example is going straight to the AHL if he isn't claimed and that's why he's there. Jordan Binnington is there because his career is heading downhill fast and i wanted to see if there is a team who value experience in goal. He has years left in his contract and NTC to boot and has been among the worst starters for few years now.
I mentioned that maybe it's a bad look to waive those players all at once. But again, ruin this game how? Parayko and Krug being claimed and 3 others likely going unclaimed... how does that change the outcome of this game?He means waiving all those players
We're going to look pretty stupid when the blues waive parayko and krug in the fall.I mentioned that maybe it's a bad look to waive those players all at once. But again, ruin this game how? Parayko and Krug being claimed and 3 others likely going unclaimed... how does that change the outcome of this game?
How does that make any sense? Blues aren't rebuilding in real life. They also still employ that same GM who signed those awful contracts. He's never going to waive them because of how bad it would look. We're going to look pretty stupid when the blues waive parayko and krug in the fall.
Just take him. It’s really not a big deal.I'd (obviously) be happy to take him but I think we should see what the consensus is from others.
It was a joke manHow does that make any sense? Blues aren't rebuilding in real life. They also still employ that same GM who signed those awful contracts. He's never going to waive them because of how bad it would look.
I wish there were dinosaur GM's living in the past in these games too. I think i would have gotten a 1 trade offer for either of those players then.
Just take him. It’s really not a big deal.
