Olofsson can be had in 1 of 2 deals.

1) Olofsson + for a top-9 better fit (defensive, physcial, etc) winger

2) Olofsson for futures

Still easily capable of putting up 30 in the right situation, just may not be in Buffalo.

Open to moving prospects not named Savoie/Kulich too. Isak Rosen could be a good add for a team wanting a potential top-6 winger to their pipeline.

:pensacquire 35OA and Tyler Johnson at 50%

:hawksacquire 14OA and Mikael Granlund

@LT to confirm

Chicago are happy to move up in the draft and Granlund can shield Bedard. If he bounces back to pre-2022/2023 Granlund, he'd be worth something in the future also

Confirm. Happy to gain a lot of cap flexibility while still retaining a good pick. Thanks to spacebar for making this the easiest negotiation I've ever had

Nice trade Chicago.

Has Granlund’s value really taken that much of a hit? He was incredibly misused by Pittsburgh but I would’ve figured he’d still have some positive value.

I think it's pretty rough. The term is the killer. TJ is a better fit for the team IMO as well. And from a futures perspective, 14th vs 35th is not much of a difference when it comes to the immediate impact PIT needs.

Chicago would be interesting moving up in the draft. Whether that is moving into the top 10 from 14 or 19 or packing 2nds to move up into the 1st round. All options open .

Currently on offer are:
14OA
19OA
44OA
45OA
51OA
55OA

Willing to take cap dumps in deals to do so also.

Raddysh could also be available. Score 20 goals last season on less than $800k.

Roster update:

We have signed Alex DeBrincat to 8-year extension (8.500m AAV)

We are also placing following players to waivers:

- Colton Parayko - 7 years left - 6.500m AAV
- Torey Krug - 4 years left - 6.500m AAV
- Nick Leddy - 3 years left - 4.000m AAV
- Marco Scandella - 1 year left - 3.200m AAV
- Jordan Binnington - 4 years left - 6.000m AAV

With the lack of offers, we now face the tough situation of forcing some roster changes to try and kickstart our rebuild. We are hoping to find new homes for these players in a more fitting environment.

:sharks claim Parayko

What sort of time limit is the cut off for waiver claims? Like 3 hours or something? Arizona or Columbus could steal him so would be good to know if I've got him

:ducks claim Torey Krug

Ducks could steal too no?
I actually meant the Ducks, no idea why I said Arizona!

Edit, now the Ducks have claimed Krug they'll not be able to claim Parayko also as you're only allowed only one at a time (according to Eastside Hockey games I've played anyway).

I mean, a mid pick and decent prospect Goalie eligible for the AHL and this handsome guy could be yours.

Heck a really good prospect could probably do it

Lol why is St Louis waiving all those players? This is ridiculous.
Because they are all bad contracts nobody wanted? Parayko was a coin toss whether to believe he'd come back to form but 7 years left is tough. If he sucks again next year you are stuck with him for additional 6 years.

I literally said while back that these players are available for next to nothing and yielded whopping 1 (potential) offer for 1 of these players. That would have returned me a 6th rounder but NTC blocked that potential trade.

If you believe there are value in there, go for it. Cap space holds more value to me. And if you wanted Parayko, maybe you should have offered me a 5th rounder, for example?

I’m just saying it’s a ridiculous concept that has no basis in reality but this is a fantasy game so have at it.

I agree with your whole point. It’s not realistic at all but I definitely understand the reasoning behind it as well. I think with so few people actually active in these games and so many people going all in or all out, these games aren’t realistic. I mean I traded Karlsson for prospects and no cap dumps. I think there’s a lot of things in these games that are entirely unrealistic but that’s just the way it goes and makes it more fun than just no one moving at all.

Oh I agree, was just something I don’t think I’ve ever seen in years of participating in these games, over $27M AAV on the waiver wire all at once. @trick9 did steal Serg from Tampa though so I can understand dumping a few of those guys for nothing if you can to make room.

Whoever gets Parayko, I’ll make you an offer on him with some retention. ;)
