Arguably the deepest Top 9 in the league, with a 3rd line that can shut-down the elite players leaving a lethal Top 6 to play against juicier matchups.

Weaver is a great addition to the team. You can never have enough depth for the playoffs, and his ability to log 20 minutes a night is huge in playoffs where injuries are bound to happen.

:panthers confirm and recall defenseman Alex Petrovic

With no major areas if concern, I wanted to add a little more scoring, and improved forward depth to the defending champions. We feel that we have bolstered our forward group enough to make a long playoff run. Even with some expiring contracts at the end of the season, we will be a strong team for years due to the overflow of NHL ready players in our system.

Didn't do as much at the deadline as we woulda wanted, but we still managed to sell off a couple assets and gain a 1st and 2nd round pick. This team is full of hard working guys and has overachieved a bit at this point in this year, but defensive depth and goaltending have the potential to be an issue. This is a bottom-five team this year, vote accordingly.

Might be a good idea to set the date of the draft right after the playoffs if we want to keep the interest.

We added a #1 center, a top 4 d-man who will really help Schultz round out his game, and a power forward. Also, Stuart and Burish should help improve an awful pk. From our line-up we lost Hemsky, Gagner, and Yakupov.

Overall, we think we are clearly a better team, and will the defense is not done, we should be out of the basement starting next year.

We believe that Calgary, Florida, Buffalo, Winnipeg, and Philly are worse than us, and New Jersey, but well, thanks Lou.

:teach:

dclown #realDaveTallon : You can expect the Panthers to go after Henrik Lundqvist, Dion Phaneuf, Dan Girardi, Joe Thornton, Paul Stastny and Ryan Callahan in the offseason.

We unfortunately had to make the decision to trade away Stastny, however we think that MacKinnon will be able to fill in admirably. Goc really solidifies our third line, making it a line that can be depended upon defensively and will chip in their fair share of offense.

The defense is based around team play rather than individual talent.

Our forward lines each have a ton of chemistry, and we have 3 centers that are top 6 capable. Our defense also holds two top pairs, something that no other team can say.
