I highly disagree.

Matthews and Marner choked flat out. They had multiple opportunities to end it game 5, then in game 6, then did nothing in game 7.

The blame needs to be shouldered entirely by these 2.

Probably so pissed he couldn't look at them. He certainly takes a sizable chunk of the blame though. The changes he made to zone starts with Willy and on the PP should have been made in game 1.

Hall wasn't coming to TO. He smartly chose a team with the best chance to win before his next contract.

We didn’t have room for 2 million. That’s what we paid extra for double retention on Foligno... and then still had to play short players down the stretch.

I thought I heard that Hall had a "would accept a trade to this team" list of 1 team (Boston).

There was no chance TOR were going to get Hall in the first place.
