Well it's dallas I wouldn't be too surprised if we tied the game.

Forward. Yup. I'm not saying the defense has been good, read my posts this game, they've been garbage. My point is, if he's truly a "Vezina" caliber goalie, then it should be expected of him to have some kind of ability to bail the team and stop at least a couple of those goals. 4 goals in the first suggest he hasn't done any of that.

Your right, he should be gumby out there combined with the ability to know when his defense is going to give the puck up,

Sorry but you are just too much, your insight to the game is laughable at best, you should probably do what you do best and enjoy watching the game and not comment on the x's and o's as it's clear as day you don't know what you are talking about.

It's like one team is playing pond hockey and the other is playing NHL hockey. Not that it really matter, but I hope they make a game of it and not lose too bad.

The classic dodge. Bravo.

LA vs Vegas
Colorado vs Nashville
Minny vs Winnipeg
San Jose vs Anahiem

I think it's like this.

Yep, and Vegas scares me more than San Jose, they are team that no one expected to do anything, and will be playing with house money, nothing to lose etc, they can do some damage playing like that.

Not dodging anything, just didn't answer your asinine question, because if you truly believe that Quick hasn't bailed this team out at times during this season, you are just proving how clueless you truly are.

We win the match-ups. Reminds me of the NJ/LA Finals.

It'll be Kopitar/Carter/Doughty/Quick VS Karlsson/Marchessault/Miller/Fleury.

I like our chances.

Lolol. Sure. He has and he has also been a big reason why this team sucks ass in the first period as well. Be real.

Well that explains just about everything honestly. And never said you thought defense has been good, but somehow you think a Vezina caliber goalie is enough to cover up a team that's not trying. Also completely ridiculous that you somehow think having the ability to bail out a team is the same as the goalie being able to every day...do you think Hasek/Roy never had games where they couldn't bail the team out.

You haven't done this once all year so let's see. What does the goalie do to make a save on that play to bail the team out? Remember you said bail the team out, so it's stopping a goal that is usually going on or almost certain to.

Kings beat Vegas when they were in a "We don't care, we are way in first, we can be a bit lazy" attitude, and it showed. When they really need to win, they can. They didn't need to win those games vs the Kings as badly as the Kings needed to win those games. Playoffs, it's a totally different scenario.

So, sort of like the scenario the Kings are in tonight, but that hasn't stopped you from adopting a double-standard in narratives.

"Fan appreciation night" indeed.

I made the mistake of spending money on this...yet again.

It's amazing how people try so hard to Pump up Quick as a Vezina caliber goalie, but when people expect him to make big saves and be able to bail out the Defense, suddenly it's everyone else's fault and we're asking too much from him OK

No, that's not asking too much of him, but it's displaying your ignorance that you're acting like he doesn't do that pretty constantly. Your confirmation bias kicks in on literally every GA.

You accuse people of over-defending Quick, but I have never once seen you NOT blame the goalie.

Agreed, but you are forgetting James Neal, and a few others, like I said, they are playing with house money, and when you do that, you are looser, teams tend to play better etc.

Maybe they need a bit of a wake call going in to next week.

With the Ducks winning, this game has little relevance anyway.

Vegas
Ducks
Sharks
Kings

Yeah Quick hasn't been doing that this season. If you want to see bailing watch 2011 Quick under Terry Murray. If you think hes half as clutch as we was back then there is nothing more to speak of.

No, no he hasn't, but again, you've shown that you have no real understanding of the game, so I guess you saying the team sucks in any format etc should be taken with about a pound of salt.

Another bonus fun fact for you: amongst goalies with more than 36 games, Quick is #5 in high danger save percentage.

2012 Quick was nuclear, if that's your goaltending standard, every goalie in the league sucks.

If LA brings its A game they should fair well against Vegas but not giving that team credit raises my superstition hackles.

At least it’s something new I guess. Let the Sharks and Ducks pound on each other for once.

You know that's not true. I blame whoever I think is responsible. Literally the first goal I said it was a brutal turnover. Plsss

Bolded the problem, A. you lie, and B. you have ZERO idea of who is responsible, hence your default, goalie first.
