It's amazing how people try so hard to Pump up Quick as a Vezina caliber goalie, but when people expect him to make big saves and be able to bail out the Defense, suddenly it's everyone else's fault and we're asking too much from him OK

It's amazing that someone with zero ability to evaluate plays would blame everything on the goaltender

I have not once this year said Quick is worthy of the Vezina. Again, stop making shit up.

Because if that line doesn’t score, they lose. They have no scoring depth after that top 3.

I love Klingberg but heir defense is average, at best and their goaltending has let them down on several occasions this year.

They need Nichushkin back next year to hopefully help create some secondary scoring.

I'm going to guess you grew up playing as a forward (assuming you played)? Team doesn't try and three goals were from guys uncovered, and another where Doughty didn't bother to stick lift. But the real thing is that Quick sucks

Others have, using your post to make a Point.

Vezina caliber goalies make big saves and bail out defense, yet those fans lose their minds when Quick time and time again has very weak first periods. And when people point out that he's not doing shit, it's suddenly asking too much from him to live up to his inflated reputation on these boards.

It was mostly rhetorical. Yeah, Spezza fell off a cliff this year, Nill did nothing at the deadline to address. I like their defense more than most going forward. Middle of the pack, but in past years it's been bottom-5, personnel-wise.

Nope no one said that, but you've consistently shown you canycbreak down plays and evaluate them so by default it's it's goaltenders fault for you. There hasn't been a goal scored that you haven't blamed quick for

Forward. Yup. I'm not saying the defense has been good, read my posts this game, they've been garbage. My point is, if he's truly a "Vezina" caliber goalie, then it should be expected of him to have some kind of ability to bail the team and stop at least a couple of those goals. 4 goals in the first suggest he hasn't done any of that.
