Kings beat Vegas when they were in a "We don't care, we are way in first, we can be a bit lazy" attitude, and it showed. When they really need to win, they can. They didn't need to win those games vs the Kings as badly as the Kings needed to win those games. Playoffs, it's a totally different scenario.

I disagree. I've also heard from Panthers fans that Gallant struggles to adjust over the course of a seven-game series, ala Boudreau. Although I don't know how Stevens will fare in that regard either. He's made some baffling choices this year.

I guess we'll see though. I have no doubt they'll have a great atmosphere for the VGK home games.

I agree with that last part. However I wouldn't judge Gallant much by how things went for him with the Panthers, he's on a new team now trying to make a name for themselves in the West. Things change and he probably learned from experience, like most players.

Kings of course have more playoff experience (duh). But I think it really comes down to who wants it more, and I think that might be Vegas. Quick has me worried watching the game that's on now.
