What a resurgence by Brown. Fantastic to see him pot 4 goals and reach 28 on the season. Over the previous four years Dustin scored 15, 11, 11, 14 goals. Geez he could have done with a four goal game to cheer him up over those years.

Maybe because they clinched the playoffs without actually winning a game. Snuck right in eh.

I mean, they won the previous night as well as the following night, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can't complain about outside help while taking care of your own business.

outrageously important to this team, which is why it drives me nuts seeing so many people want to ship him off for the latest flavor of the week free agent

dude is one of the best bargains in the game, locked up cheap as f*** for his 200 foot play, much less his offensive production

Win the last one. Get 100 points. Get momentum. Let other teams worry about how well the kings are playing. Get healthy.

Kinda like the outside help tonight from the refs :laugh: That delay of game penalty in the 2nd lol I mean...it was legit....but without it that game would have gone the other way easy.

Outside help isn't going to win the cup.

You simply can't realistically expect GOOD playoff teams to make the stupid penalties the Wild made tonight. It won't be handed to the Kings on a silver platter like it was tonight. Brown was the only one that scored basically.

So your complaint is that the refs got a call right and we took advantage. You're trying too hard to be upset, I think.

And you presume too much, Kings were owning the 2nd, no reason to believe the game would have spiraled out of control or something except for pessimism.

They took control after the 5-3 for sure. I can't deny facts. Wild shot themselves in the foot, like I said a few pages ago.

Carter did nothing this game, despite that 17-5 W/L record. Totally non-existent.

Good playoff teams won't collapse after one 5 on 3 goal. Brown won't get a hat trick in vs a playoff ready goalie. Sorry to burst your bubble.

given that there's no context for this post in my thread view, i'm gonna assume its in response to the poster now only known to me as "Ignored Poster"

i would suggest you follow suit, it really makes the night much more pleasant

The division winner then gets punished for playing a Wild Card team that hapens to be from the Central division.

he looked good to me but i wasn't really watching D too carefully tonight

saw him get a little bit aggressive on a forecheck and came down to help in a board battle near the dots which obviously isn't something i'm used to seeing from kings D but i think that's the kind of stuff that's good to see in a young guy, a bit of aggression that maybe you can quell down with coaching

made a really nice fake shot-pass to folin who made the pass to reider's tip-in, pretty good defensively, saw him make a really confident backhanded d to d pass.. not much to complain about imo, especially for a guy (literally) straight out of college

Does anyone know if all 1st round games are exclusively on FSW here in LA? Because my FuboTV subscription is about to expire and I plan on cancelling it since the regular season will be over soon. I'll just use my brother's Spectrum account to watch games on the NBCSN app.
