As well as that period went for the Kings, we know the tendency with this team, two goal leads, and second period performances. That said, couldn’t have asked for a better start, save for Forbort getting hurt.

Just make it through the remaining 2.75 games with the rest of the team intact.

You do realize that as driller17 said, Bourque had the angle on Forbort, Forbort was making a play and was exposed and Bourque absolutely drilled him, it had nothing to do with size, and everything to do with speed and angle,

But your so damn blind when it comes to Forbort you would rather have him injured than playing, that's just sad man.

Your take on the plays is extremely interesting, the very fact that you think he got out muscled on that play, makes me want to say you've never played serious hockey in your life, that's just such an asinine thing to say, I have no idea how you can come up with that.

Kings got sick of Martinez and Forbort getting run so they started picking on the f***ing teenagers that left the flaming bag of poo on their porch. What a period. Physical, fast, all going to the net and walls hard. I love it. We need this the rest of the way.

I don't think he has in the regular season, but I'm sure he has in the playoffs.

Doughty played damn near 70 minutes on back to back nights earlier this year, but forget when. I'd have to go look but yeah.

Look at the distance between Forbort and the boards, how Bourque was within his sights if he had his head up, and how Forbort is looking like an amateur as he’s looking down at the puck, and you’ll realize that, especially since you’re an expert, advanced hockey player. I thought you’d know better, but I’m willing to hold your hand and guide you through it since bias has clearly clouded your judgement.

Yep, make bad plays all the time, every game, and yes, the game is extremely hard to play,

Forbort didn't make a bad play, well, mentally he did, he didn't expect to get hit, but other than that, nothing wrong with that play.

Phaneuf made a terrible play, that decision to fight when Forbort was already injured, need to be smarter than that,

Forbort got hit and hurt, but the guy was smaller so he sucks. Also we seem to have found the poster that is the mother of every player on the Kings.
