I hate the back-to-back excuse, but the Ducks were definitely sharper and more energetic.

Anaheim was the better team last night and deserved to win the game.

Noticed Lafallo wasn't playing, how long is he expected to be out? Hes 1 of the king players that has really caught my eye this season(outside of kopitar/doughty/quick seasons).

Good game tonight, hopefully we can both beat up on the Avs this week and a couple upsets in round 1 and have a date in round 2 ;)
He's out day to day with upper body injury. He brings such a jump to the top line along with grind and cycle game, he was missed last night.

Glad we got a point since the team looked checked out half way through the game.

I'm the same way but it was apparent last night. The Arizona game way a tight hard fought win and it looked like they ran outta gas early in Anaheim. Thank goodness no more b2b.

A little fact, kings haven't won a b2b game this month.

+35 goal differential and we are fighting for a playoff spot, that's insane.

The main problem are the losses within the conference and not Toffoli and Pearson.

Toffoli has 24 goals and hit 3 posts lately. He will never drive the play, he is a goalscorer and he has just done that.

Pearson was getting a lot better lately. He has screened a lot of goals, has been on the scoreboard a lot more in the 2nd half of the season and because of him the Kings scored 2 goals vs. Edmonton. The outcome was just dissapointing. How is that crap.

Kempe's goalscoring drought isnt helping. Thats crap.
A late first round rookie being inconsistent who would ever think that would happen?

As to the other two not even going to comment.

But they are getting points out of most or all of them. And didnt they beat Vegas b2b?

Speaking of back to backs. The Kings will be facing a team on the 2nd end of a back to back in the remaining 3 games.

Just disappointing with the type of years that Kopitar, Doughty and Brown have had, how awesome Carter has been since returning and the team is going to allow the fewest goals in the league and we are still not locked into a playoff spot.

Pearson, Toffoli and Kempe have been crap for much of the 2nd half. Very disappointing, especially TP and TT.

Has that 70's line played together since Carters return?

didn't realize there were still games like this left, i heard people complaining about it earlier in the season, that the kings saw more opponents on #2 of b2bs than any other team

that's good news

If they take advantage of it. I'll be tuning in to tomorrow's Avs/Ducks game at 6PM. I'm torn as to who should win that one for the benefit of the Kings.

Colorado’s next four games: @ Anaheim, @ Los Angeles, @ San Jose, vs St. Louis.

St. Louis’ next four games: vs Washington, vs Chicago, @ Chicago, @ St. Louis

Anaheim’s next four games: vs Colorado, vs Minnesota, vs Dallas, @ Arizona

Los Angeles’ next three games: vs Colorado, vs Minnesota, vs Dallas

Right now, the standing are as follows:
With 3 games left, the Kings have 94 points.
With 4 games left, the Ducks have 93 points.
With 4 games left, the Blues have 92 points.
With 4 games left, the Avs have 92 points.

If the Ducks beat the Avs, then the Kings, Ducks, and Avs will have three games remaining, with the Ducks having 95 points, the Kings having 94 points, and the Avs having 92.

If the Kings can beat the Avs the following night, the Kings will have 96 points with two games remaining and the Avs will have 92 points with two games remaining.

I don’t know - the more I play these scenarios in my head, I think the best case scenario here is the Ducks keep losing. They’ve got the least regulation wins.

This is a crazy race. Four teams, three playoff spots.

Best case scenario is us vs. Vegas first round. All I'm gonna say.

I was thinking that too. I've noted the Sharks are coming back down to Earth a bit lately now that they are playing tougher competition. Here's their record for March:

Against non-playoff teams: 7-0-0
Against playoff teams: 3-4-1

I still think Vegas is a better bet, but the Sharks recent record is a bit misleading.

Totally want Avs to lose....and have no problem with Kings dropping down to WC. Don't want Sharks in 1st round.

chance to separate from avs on monday if they lose tonight or chance to win through division..rooting against ducks
