Overall I liked the way they played that period.

3rd game in 4 nights for the Coyotes. If the Kings come out with some energy in the 3rd period I like their chances.

They miss Muzzin on the second unit. Enormous downgrade to Gravel.

Herby is right. You play your best team possible at home and give yourself the best chance at two points.

If they don't get them tonight, it's even more important tomorrow. Have the ROW tiebreaker over the Ducks and their insane amount of Mighty Points.

It's odds. Be smart. This isn't smart. Hope it works out.

They miss Amadio on the 2nd unit. His puck possession and passing are key to that group. Kempe does not have the right skill set for that.

Amadio has been struggling badly lately, ever since they sat him the first time when he was playing so well, he hasn’t been the same. Hopefully it’s not Brayden McNabb2.0

BK,

Tell you exactly what he was thinking. He felt like he could get a W with Campbell tonight and maybe Quick steals one tomorrow and the Kings basically are in.

They were never going to play Quick on a back to back and if the Kings win tonight you know the Ducks are going to come out flying. As Corey Perry said after that EDM game “every guy in this room knows exactly where we stand and where everyone else stands”

Stevens probably doesn’t trust Campbell in that spot but was never going to play Quick both games.

Man thinking back to Richardson's time with the Kings, he didn't accomplish a ton, but that game tying goal in Vancouver was kind of an unsung goal in that whole run. Series would have been 3-2 had they lost that game.

and holy crap, God I hope we are not discussing those missed chances a half hour from now.

At this point just give me OT, I'll take 1 point with a coin flip.

Oh and as much as I hate his lineup choices, Stevens is so much better in game than Sutter, love how he rolled the Carter line on a double shift right before the commercial break and then went back to them right out of the break.

I've had pretty much zero problems with Stevens in-game decisions, for the most part.

He catches grief because a lot of people don't want to hold the players accountable.

But I hate Campbell tonight.
