The way Phaneuf has played since coming to LA has me seriously questioning my ability to evaluate players. Happy to be proven wrong though, in this case.

Honestly though, he never played as instinctually in Toronto, not in the games I watched at least.

To be honest I think the backlash will be worse if they were to lose tonight and then lose tomorrow than if Quick started and lost both.

I think the best option was to play Quick tonight and then reevaluate based on the game results, but to late now.

And lol at Chyrchrun, I guess messageboard fans aren't the only ones complaining about HIGH STICKING penalties.

I think he was expected to do too much. He’s not a first pairing guy anymore but in the right role he is still effective.

They miss Amadio on the 2nd unit. His puck possession and passing are key to that group. Kempe does not have the right skill set for that.
