What a massive decline they’ve had. Thank God Panarin is no longer there either.

Yup, salary cap did them in. Not enough depth on this roster to compensate for injuries or declining play by vets.

It's actually been since Haley dropped him in Florida that he's been crushing it.

Would be amazing if he fulfills his AHL potential after floundering here for so long.

Loving Brodz/Amadio. I was hoping for a Dowd/Brodz combo to start the year but it didn't happen. At some point, this team has got to get some AHL teammates come up together and click.

Hawks don't give a ****. They're just playing out the string.

They seem to have quit on Coach Q. I am sure they will get a new coach and be contenders again next season. The Hawks just need to retool.

This exactly, and what makes this trade so great. Just goes to show you that the Ottawa fans don't know defense cause their team doesn't play it. Overpaid at this point of his career yes, washed up? Hell no.

I hated the Dion trade, but it's been looking really good so far. Dion better defensively than advertised; helps that you have a team that knows how to play defense in general though.

I like Thompson too.
