i was completely disgusted by the thought of getting phaneuf until i learned it was for gaborik

never become so disillusioned by a player so quickly as i have with gaborik this season

The trade was a win now for the Kings and their play so far solidifies it. If Gaborik retires and Ottawa has a solid 4th liner with 3rd line potential at a low cap hit, they'll be stoked.

Kings got the best players on paper and they've been backing the paper up so far.
