Kind of fell asleep in the 3rd period, but Quickie stayed strong and shut the door. Get at least a point tomorrow in Winnipeg to make this road trip somewhat successful

What can I say? Good win.

The Kings backed off in the 3rd, but whatever, they need some energy for tomorrow night.

Gaining Phaneuf was like getting 1.5 defensmen, because it allowed Forbort to be back with Doughty where he plays well.

Also, did Andy visit some voodoo joint on the Florida swing?

let's not be fooled by Andreoff's performance, we still need an upgrade over him

of course i'm enjoying it, but with Thompson, we now have a solid prototypical 4th line alongside Clifford & Mitchell

Andreoff is promoted to 3rd line, so he has to produce at a Shore-like level... that's what a 3rd liner does at a minimum, so him reaching that bar, isn't something to be all celebratory about

we still need to upgrade that position if we're serious about competing, which is why the rumored "mid level scoring winger" to the Kings make a ton of sense since Blake is pretty much confirming that he won't sacrifice the future.

props to Andreoff but i'm not counting on him

Amadio has been a completely different player from his first call up. He has been one of the Kings best players the past couple of weeks, I don't see any way they send him down even when Carter and Lewis return.

Our future 3C has arrived a bit early... but he is here to stay!! and I’m sure Jonny Brodzinski is happy to hear that lol

but the Hawks though, that was miserable of them

it took them longer than us to be irrelevant,

bigger they are, harder they fall, i guess this cliche is true here

we were always more low key than them in the league, that's why we've managed to hover around a little longer

now we laugh last!

Looked gassed in the third, but i'm not surprised with the time and distance (and opponents) on this road trip.

Locked it down in the end, Quick was phenomenal, no shutout though, what a bum yet again. Key save at a key time on that 2-on-1 and even got a tick of the rebound.

Looked like a total juggernaut for the first two periods, gorgeous hockey, our depth went from good to deadly real fast there, and we still have Carter AND Lewis on the way...

Drew could hardly move after the Wingels hit. I didn't get a good look at it. Charley horse maybe?

Try to get one point tomorrow night, and get it all together at home.

It looked like the hit was just below the knee... it looked like Tommy did it with intent, he led with his knee

what annoys me when i look at the standings

we wouldn't be in such a tight race with our rivals, if we lost more of our games in OT/SO instead of in regulation

that's really the only thing that is blocking us from distancing away of Calgary, Anaheim, and San Jose

they're literally better than us at losing
