They played like when Gabby was on IR in Oct/Nov. Just saying.

Also I think Forbort needs more time to reflect.

Playing healthy Kuemper is better than playing an injured Quick.

How crazy is the West, Flames go from a play off team to falling to 10th spot, by allowing 2 goals in 10 seconds with under 2 minutes to go. Smith was pretty pissed at his Frolik for throwing that pass into his pads and giving a layup to Knights on the tying goal.

Gravel played freaking 20 minutes and looked mostly good doing it.

He didn't look out of place or intimidated playing with Doughty. In fact, he looked more confident playing alongside a competent partner. Hopefully this is something he can build off of and cements himself as a regular in the D-rotation. The Kings badly need him and LaDue to start contributing, and both did that tonight.

It's also nice to have a dependable backup goalie. I hope that they give Quick more time to rest and give Kuemper more opportunities to start. I also hope the Kings can retain Kuemper and sign him and possibly even Folin to extensions.

With that said, it's funny how forgotten it is that Ben Bishop was a King for a short while. One of those pointless deals where assets were wasted for a useless rental...

i wondered if that trade soured the team even more after budai busted his ass for them and they made this stupid, pointless trade we nevered played well after this and i know there was multiple reasons why but i thought we screwed budai over and just wonder if the team did too
