Looks like a dislocated shoulder or elbow. Very awkward arm posture when he was pressed into the boards.
I've read all the happy comments since yesterday, I think you should be the one to blame!!Love Pinto. Having he, Norris and Stu is the stuff of...playoffs plus
Perhaps . Still, he's part of the team, so it's not like he's exiled foreverI've read all the happy comments since yesterday, I think you should be the one to blame!!
If it’s shoulder it’s not going to be 10 days, a month would be lucky.Any medical expert? 10 days off and should be all right?

That be my guess...
Falling onto an outstretched arm is a common cause of a shoulder injury, most likely resulting in a shoulder dislocation where the upper arm bone pops out of the shoulder socket, causing significant pain and inability to move the arm; this is often accompanied by swelling and requires immediate medical attention.
Key points about shoulder injuries from falling on an outstretched arm:
- Most common injury:
Shoulder dislocation
- Mechanism:
When you fall and instinctively try to break the fall with your outstretched arm, the force can dislocate the shoulder joint.
- Symptoms:
Severe pain in the shoulder, noticeable deformity, inability to move the arm, swelling
- Rotator cuff tear: The tendons in the shoulder can be torn due to the sudden impact
- Fractured collarbone: The collarbone may break from the force of the fall
- Proximal humerus fracture: A fracture in the upper arm bone near the shoulder joint
What to do if you fall on an outstretched arm:
- Seek medical attention immediately: A dislocated shoulder needs to be properly repositioned by a healthcare professional.
- Apply ice: Use an ice pack to reduce pain and swelling around the shoulder
- Immobilize the arm: Keep the arm still and supported with a sling to prevent further damage
we have to survive the next 2 games and hope the time frame lines up with the end of februaryIf it’s shoulder it’s not going to be 10 days, a month would be lucky.
I'd love to say that you are wrong, but sadly I think you're right - he will be out for a while...I expect him to miss a lot of time.
Hopefully doesn't need surgery, that would be really bad.
ya, I saw that after reading about it I just never bother to edit my posts. I'm a man of my words. If it’s shoulder it’s not going to be 10 days, a month would be lucky.
Was gonna say...looks like the shoulder popped out and popped back in, and when he was moving his arm a bit, it was actually just checking to see if it was properly back in, and then he winced down in pain immediately following.nah.... shaking his arm after
edit:
SHOULDER
It’s not, previous injury was his right shoulder. Was gonna say...looks like the shoulder popped out and popped back in, and when he was moving his arm a bit, it was actually just checking to see if it was properly back in, and then he winced down in pain immediately following.
At least that's what it looked like to me.
Anyone know if it's the same shoulder he missed a year with surgery?
Sam Gagner is patiently waiting by the phone.
