Any medical expert? 10 days off and should be all right?

That be my guess...

Falling onto an outstretched arm is a common cause of a shoulder injury, most likely resulting in a shoulder dislocation where the upper arm bone pops out of the shoulder socket, causing significant pain and inability to move the arm; this is often accompanied by swelling and requires immediate medical attention.

Key points about shoulder injuries from falling on an outstretched arm:
  • Most common injury:
    Shoulder dislocation

  • Mechanism:
When you fall and instinctively try to break the fall with your outstretched arm, the force can dislocate the shoulder joint.

  • Symptoms:
Severe pain in the shoulder, noticeable deformity, inability to move the arm, swelling

    • Rotator cuff tear: The tendons in the shoulder can be torn due to the sudden impact
  • Fractured collarbone: The collarbone may break from the force of the fall

  • Proximal humerus fracture: A fracture in the upper arm bone near the shoulder joint

What to do if you fall on an outstretched arm:
  • Seek medical attention immediately: A dislocated shoulder needs to be properly repositioned by a healthcare professional.
  • Apply ice: Use an ice pack to reduce pain and swelling around the shoulder

  • Immobilize the arm: Keep the arm still and supported with a sling to prevent further damage

If it’s shoulder it’s not going to be 10 days, a month would be lucky.

nah.... shaking his arm after

edit:

SHOULDER
Was gonna say...looks like the shoulder popped out and popped back in, and when he was moving his arm a bit, it was actually just checking to see if it was properly back in, and then he winced down in pain immediately following.

At least that's what it looked like to me.

Anyone know if it's the same shoulder he missed a year with surgery?

It’s not, previous injury was his right shoulder.

Sens have been pretty good at not missing a beat even with injuries but Norris AND Pinto is brutal. Silver lining is that it happened at the “right” time and at least the break will eat into the timelines, but we’re probably gonna need to rely heavily on the PP and goaltending to win games until they’re back - or at least one of them is.
