We should be rotating Sutter and Beagle in and out of the lineup. Maybe Sutter won’t get burnt out and have a horrendous second half like usual.

We DO have roughly 6 players who typically start off back a bit when there’s a faceoff, however to label them as “defenders” in 2021 was putting too much pressure on them. It’s all about having a good time, and learning other life skills like getting along with others and working in a team!

Agreed but I would say their last couple of penalties were unlucky

- Holtby should have been called on a trip. Doesn’t excuse taking an unsportsmanlike penalty (im assuming crossed a line with the refs)
- the other one I thought Beagle was holding their d man just as much

This team really lost maybe their 3rd best goalie in franchise history, one of their steadiest defenders in team history, a very good winger in Toffoli as well as two incredibly solid and cheap players like Leivo and Stetcher all in one summer.
