This goes beyond bad personnel - everyone's visibly miserable and has given up.
Something seriously wrong behind the scenes.

Pettersson no signs of life again.
Last year's Demko might've held the team in this in the 1st.

Miller directly responsible for goal #1, 2, and 4 against.
Interested to see if he starts giving effort at 4 nations. Suspect he might look like himself again there and then come back to Vancouver and keep sulking

This is just the most Canucks thing to happen. Seems like the core has finally turned it around, they all go to the All-Star game, and 4/5 just turn into absolute dogwater over the next 12 months.

Last season when the defense was injured we acquired big Z to make sure Hughes wasn't playing too much. Today the dude played close to 30 in a BLOWOUT LOSS.

Everyone can point fingers at each other, but truly the organization from the top down has completely f***ed up this year at every stage of the season. From the coach not managing the inner turmoil effectively to make sure everyone plays hard every night, to management sitting on their hands all year, to the players just downright disrespecting the crest, it's been brutal to watch.

Started out with so much promise too, which makes it suck even more. They looked like they could play the new system well whenever Soucy/Myers wasn't dragging them down + Hronek was healthy, but as soon as they hit adversity everything's slowly gone to shit.

I was offered tickets to the closed practice tomorrow and I didn't hesitate to turn it down. Best decision I've made in a while
Why? You're probably gonna miss out on a line brawl.

Two sides of the locker room line up behind Petey and Miller respectively.

Gave up on the game at 3-0 and came back for the last five minutes at 5-1.....so didn't miss anything. Aussie Open was more entertaining......at least the players out there look like they care whether they win or lose.

Allvin won't be watching this much longer. Their best two players--who are earning close to $20m a season--are invisible night after night. One of them will be gone after this season, if not even earlier.

Boeser is as good as gone. And some of their d-men on short-term deals will be gone. Right now the TDL offers a lot more interest than the rest of the season.

Alcaraz looks like he's on a mission for that career grand slam at the age of 21. All time stuff if he does it.

Truly impressive unraveling of this team. Experience Canucks hockey.

It was always one of possibilities with the direction management took when they arrived. TBF I thought it would hold together a year or two longer before the implosion if it was going to implode.
