I said it there and I'll say it here, after we got burned for goals on 'convenient' changes (guy going to the neutral zone end of their bench, oncoming player jumping off the offensive side), and after we got a too many men for essentially nothing, I don't feel bad at all about this one...and even then, none of the too many players from EITHER side (yes, the Canucks did too) had literally anything at all to do with the play, they were never within 100 feet of it. Much ado about nothing.
Good win, closer than it should have been. We were up four posts to 1

Nice ot see everyone band together and come out guns blazing in the third. Not the best version of Quick, likely because he wasn't under seige...one of hte first games in a while we've been in definite control of a game most of the way through. Nice to come out on top of what felt like a 2015 Kings game.
60.42% CF%, 66% HDCF%. And felt like it. Most of the danger was controlled by us, Markstrom played very well for the most part.
Need to get Kopitar and Brown going again, but they need to stop getting buried. They're getting the hard deployment so Kempe and Gaborik especially get offensive time. Kopitar, Brown, Pearson with the good ol 30% offensive zone start percentage, Doughty with 38. Kempe G aborik Toffoli with 70%. They'd better be scoring!
Drew with another masterful performance minus the very obvious brainfarts. 68.75 CF% (16.67% rel, and with those zone starts too), 70% scoring chances, and a GWG.
