Kopitar, Doughty and Brown having massive years last year actually made things way worse. If Kopitar and Doughty played like this last season, Stevens would have been fired and we'd have our (hopeful) coach for the future, we'd have traded atleast a couple of Carter, Toffoli, Muzzin, Martinez. We never would have had Phaneuf and Thompson and we would have ended up with a better draft pick.

2017-2018 was just a disaster season.
