Wow what the heck did Kovy do to get the Dog House. Last in offense at least give him some time. Bring back stevens my goodness.

Mildly concerned over this winning streak.

Cal definitely earned this win tonight. And that's the first time in a while we've seen them dominate in overtime.

Kopitar leading the team in scoring again.

Brown tied with the team lead in goals.

The vets need to be better but it's still better than the last 20ish games

Didn't think the standings were updated. Fixed it, but yeah, it's still within reach now. Shows how bad this season has been overall.
But like 7 teams to jump..

And they still only scored only 1 freaking goal in regulation

This is Kings 2012 first half of the year, no goals and hope the goalie can save their can.

There is no way they can go on any kind of a winning streak chipping in 1 or 2 goals per game.

Eight points is a mountain to climb in today's NHL. All of the teams ahead of the Kings would have to continue epic losing streaks, that's unlikely.

Oh I agree. It's just dumbfounding that throughout all the struggles, they're still within reach due to the four points earned since Sunday.

If they were playing better teams, they probably wouldn't be on a winning streak. I'm sure this won't last long, but I guess the silver lining is Cal Petersen is solidifying himself as a future #1 goalie, which is happening sooner than any of us anticipated.

Looking at the Ducks and Canucks, both teams who are -16 and -18 respectively. Although the Ducks did look impressive in their win against Tampa Bay today, those are certainly two teams who can struggle the rest of the way, and they're chasing a wild card spot, with the Ducks having as many points as Dallas with 27 and the Canucks at 25.

Of course, the Kings catching up is assuming the team starts playing to their potential, which is highly debatable.
