If they're going to stop responding after a month, then what's the difference? There's then no coach good enough to make them listen, and they're all just wasting time between cashing their checks.

The nose dive started midway through the Leafs game we won, where we let them come storming back. Felt like a switch was literally flipped. Hasnt been the same since that 2nd period.

yup 1-2 goals on the first 7-12 shots since 2015 ive been saying

people kept calling me a hater or crazy

but anyway he's not even the problem anymore

this team is really weak depth wise

and we are still 2 legit top 6 wingers short

we're also missing a Willie Mitchell Robyn Regehr type of D

McNabb & Forbort are NOT those players

i don't claim he is but he's very, very, very important to it's success. i just feel sometimes people here are talking like these guys are skating aimlessly around and this is the worst hockey they've ever seen. i've seen avs and yotes games where you honestly wonder if you're watching an ECHL game because the systems play is so atrocious. we haven't seen that. underachievement? of course. but they're still in 2nd place and there's a lot of parity in the middle of the west this year. that's not getting a coach fired.

Seems like their big victory for the season was the Ducks game. The effort level since then has not been matched.
 
Let's be honest.. This team wants to be the Penguins, but they're not built for it.. at all. Even with Carter. You can't just change the system and ignore the personnel. This team needs a rebuild if they want to change the style they play. Otherwise they're just masquerading as a high octane speed team that puts big numbers on the board when they're identity is still really a heavy team that should forcheck and control.
 
I think the Kings can play high octane hockey under one condition, if they retool their defense and go for quick skating two way defenseman all the way.
 
I wouldn't be against getting rid of Muzzin for a good skating two way defenseman. Even Forbort
