Ducks have had the fortune of drafting well, and good goal tending today.

Carter isn't fixing the team troubles.This is way bigger than just one position.Kings are being out hustled and missing assignments.

Carter is extremely responsible. They miss that aspect in that game.

100%. I just think you can agree that he's been letting goals really early every game and that hurts the morale of the team.

I think it'd be great for Quick to take over a game ever so often, but we haven't seen that happen at all.

I'm happy that he has been calling up the kids, it is what we have been asking for years but it looks like some of them are not cutting it so he does need to do some trades if they want to make the pos.

people underestimate how much balance he brings to the entirety of the lineup too. it's not so much a pure "we're missing 20-30 goals" thing as much as having an outrageously dangerous 2nd line forces opponents to do more line matching which means you don't just snuff out the top line and send out whoever against the rest of the lineup like what opponents can do now. jeff carter is an elite 2C, no question about it and that commands a lot of respect from opponents

It’s not like this is Stevens’ first rodeo in the NHL, and he’s been with this core group for awhile. He’s well-known to be a players coach and it looks like the team is taking advantage of that doing whatever they want on the ice. They obviously aren’t playing system hockey

Yup, Carter is a 1C on a lot of teams, he's criminally underrated and on a team as shallow as we are his absence is dramatic.

It's good goaltending for any team playing against the kings. It's about time to stop giving credit to every backup goalie in the league and just flat out call it what it is, they suck at scoring goals period.
