Im assuming AA is going to miss time so I would just slot Mitchell into his spot, Brodz has looked a lot better since his recall, even if i wasn’t happy with his SO haha

Rosen said there's a good chance Clifford flies to Detroit with the team. I think he'd take Andreoff's spot back and Mitchell would replace someone. Most likely Brodzinski but maybe Jokinen.

I’m more concerned with winning games while the team is in a slump rather than rewarding effort. Brodz had a good game which is a good sign, still don’t agree with him shooting over others in the shootout, where was Brown’s reward for the game tying goal?

I get it if that's the case but this was against a division rival, you put the experts in. Kings are not doing well against western teams, it's not the right time to test out the new kids

There's never a right time. Every point is big. Would it be good to put Brodzinski in there against the Sabres? Of course not, you want to get that extra point, not throw it away. Didn't show it there, but maybe Brodzinski is good in shootouts. Maybe he's not. SO's are a wild card though. One guy is as basically as good as the next. We've seen Kopitar do the same open up the 5 hole move again and again and not score. Then he pulls a move like tonight.

Another thing Carter brought to the team . With 8,11,77, they're deadly. Steven seems to almost put a leash on them now and play a very conservative 3v3 instead of the way Sutter did.

I don't get why he doesn't pair TT and TP together during OT, Sutter used to do it. If he worried about faceoffs they could handle it.

It's funny actually cause the Kings issues have been the same for nearly three years with these players healthy and on the roster.

Maybe, but both are more than capable of winning draws. There really aren't a lot of faceoffs in OT when you think about it. Like I said, his approach seems very conservative.

The decision to use Brodzinski in the shootout was not a reward, it's because he is good at them. He won a game against the Canucks in the preseason in a shootout, he has a good history in the AHL in shootouts, and obviously he is good in practice. He just flubbed it. Happens to the best of them.

I am more confused that AA is out on the power play and then agrees to dance with Bieska of all people , we had the PP and had destroyed a goon in the first fight why risk the momentum , why have him on the pp and why one of their tougher guys, they killed the power play and scored within minutes .......???......was awesome though to have the duck fans hearts ripped a little more , we had no business getting one never mind two points last night, I hate when we are home so much I can't remember that going good for us
