I don’t understand why anyone here is surprised or upset by these losses anymore. This season was in the tank ten games ago.

We have a legitimate shot at Jack f***ing Hughes. It would be a gift from the hockey gods to go from two Cups to a significant 1st overall pick in such a short period of time.

We’re back in contention in 3-4 years if we draft Hughes. These are good losses, boys.

Doing a complete rebuild is the right thing to do because our old boys just cant do that. Start fresh and draft accordingly. But contract commitments have been recently made and I understand the moral aspect of not trading away the guys who brought in the prize. Management has all season to figure out the system best fit with what we have.

I think it's honorable that the current Kings pay tribute to the Kings of yesteryear with their pathetic performances. There really isn't much that separates what we're watching today to what old time fans were used to watching in the 80s.
