Unless there is new ownership nothing will improve.
Sad reality. Aquilinis wouldve been nice to have with no salary cap maybe. Gaglardi should be the Canucks owner now and things would be so much nicer without the deadbeat greaseball we are stuck with

Lindholm was the Bruins' consolation prize for missing out on the OEL sweepstakes. How is it that other teams fail at their objective, yet still hit it out of the park? haha, the Canucks are so incompetently ran, to an almost mind-boggling degree. They could get this year's 1st OV and still somehow screw it up

No OEL wanted Boston or Van and I'm sure Boston was asking for the AZ 2021 1st rounder plus to take him on...enter Jim Benning[/QUOTE]

I take it you had an even more pleasant evening watching the Leo's/Bombers? :-p.

:-(. #MeToo
Nope (I’m in Missouri though I can watch CFL through ESPN+. I just never remember). I actually joined my beer league for the evening. Not able to play yet with pericarditis. I’m technically cleared by the cardiologist provided I feel comfortable but I’m not at that point yet. Haven’t ramped my heart rate to that level yet and I don’t want it to be on the ice the first time I do. Still it was great to hang out with the boys (and gal) again.

Nice man. You'll get there again as far as your heart rate goes. Slow and steady. At least you got other sports there to take you away from the Canucks misery. Being relatively close to St. Louis (and Kansas City?), I'm sure you've got a lot of NFL and MLB options at your disposal.

“As a diversity conscious franchise, the Vancouver Canucks consider ourselves a world leader, and that includes not shunning all Russians for the mistakes of their president. We are proud to select Michkov.”

"The Vancouver Canucks have won the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery. This means that Chicago will get the right to draft Bedard as the pick was traded in February for Seth Jones."

I learnt the easy way the best place to have life threatening collapse is in an intensive care ward. Went to my specialist over a routine check up. He took one look at me and straight to intensive care in a wheel chair. Intensive care doctor says "nope, not sick enough", mine is "yep", "definitely nope"....

Woke up 2 days later with a tube down my throat. My doctor enjoyed his bragging rights, highlight of his career. Even on a ventilator I was still in better shape than the Canucks.

I really dont see how any other conclusion can be reached at this point.
It's the vastly most likely reality coming up soon.

Several top players clearly want out of this mess they've endured for years and years, and the others aren't really anything special.

Yes but maybe we can suck enough and win the lottery we lost in 1970 then this year.

But that being said the dysfunction on this team is holding it back and for me it's all about ownership.

A respected psoter mentioned that we already ahve our #1 center, #1 Dman and # 1 goalie but Demko looks lost this year, EP is showing improvment but he is ahrdly the #1 center on a SC team right now and Quinn as good as he has been is only 1 guy on the back end and he can't do it all alone.

I've been a Canucks fan since the start and man the future just looks really bleak.

Without looking it up, who do you think had the least ice time amongst defencemen?
Felt like Burroughs and Schenn were being played less. I stopped watching when we went down 3-1. Going to actually guess Schenn...seems like a tank move.

Kuzmenko is probably not happy with the lack of response
Prob too pissed with his own benching

He is the lucky one, he gets out of this tire fire next season…or sooner

We have got to have the most incompetent assistant coaches in the nhl

Why did tgis franchise hire useless assistants?

Baumer, king, yeo, cull ???

Really?

Schenn - 16:59
Bear - 17:42
Burroughs - 17:45
Myers - 18:08
Ekman-Larsson - 19:12
Hughes - 22:40

You aren’t going to win when the two worst guys are getting the 2nd and 3rd highest minutes.

I don't think OEL has been bad at all the last few games after that weird stretch at home where he was horrific for a few games.

Myers, on the other hand ...

Interesting that yet again Burroughs plays more than Schenn.
