Kind of surprised by the amount of people upset right. Heard the score was 3-0 after 2 periods and I thought all hope was lost. Then I find out we somehow managed to steal a point after being down 3 goals and I was thrilled. Not saying you all should be happy after a loss, but this team would've folded like an accordion last season. Let's save the Zatkoff comparisons until we actually start going on a losing streak.

I'm just excited that Iafallo finally popped his cherry. Hopefully he'll get some more now that he's got that weight off his shoulders.

When you see how we got down 3-0, you'll see the Zatkoff comparison.

I think Kuemper is better but his body language was terrible all night.

It's fine in the grand scheme of things, I just wonder why he was so awful off the bat tonight when his last two appearances (minus the softy that Minny fans warned us about) he's looked confident and stable and simply just 'there' like you want your backup to be. Just don't give away any terrible goals and it's fine.

But definitely a different feel from this team in the third, I agree they would have just sighed and gave up last year. I said before the third it looked like they were gonna mail it in but I was thrilled to be awfully wrong.

The Swedish Meatball. That feels like a lifetime time ago. Ersberg was better than Cloutier and LaBarbara. He was pretty good the following season too, but he got hurt at one point, then we called up Quick, and then... that was that.

I've never seen so many hail Mary plays in one game. Combine that with the sitting behind the net for 30 seconds just to dump it in or ice it was worse than Ottawa imo. I feel bad for their fans, it's like watching the kings last year not being able to generate chances.

Went to see my friend's band play, but met some cool Kings fans there and we got a point. Not a bad night or bad game. We've got to get better when it comes to playing teams on a back-to-back though. All these points could matter at then end of season.

That’s rich coming from the “backup goalie should be shot out of a cannon for starting the season 2-0-1” crowd. Zatkoff never made a save like the one Kuemper made in the 3rd to keep it 3-0.

I just don't agree with some of Stevens ice time decisions . Folin for 5 mins , why ? Play Fantenberg or Ladue he played big mins last year

I'm sure you remember ever save Zatkoff has made. Zatkoff played behind a shitty team last season.

I'd fire Zatkoff and Kuemper out of a cannon into the sun.


Zatkoff was the worst goalie in the NHL last year, and now that he's gone, Kuemper is trying to be a top candidate. But if you like this status in the next 20 minutes, I'll triple the offer and get an extra cannon for Clifford. 3 for one deal.

BTW I'm very surprised that Kuemper posts on HF. The admiration sometimes the Kings board has for useless plugs astonished me..
