Kuemper has zero confidence. He's so glued to his crease. Jesus christ, goalies are supposed to cut the angle on break away not rush to the goal line and give them more space to shoot. Awful goalie.

They were completely unimpressive to me. AND Played chicken **** 1-1-3 all night. Johansen is a joke of a 1C.
that hold behind the net for 30 seconds just to make a set dump play is some really, really dumb hockey and they played it a LOT

How the hell did Anaheim acquire Ryan Miller? Its a shame we couldn't have gotten him over Kuemper. If Quick goes down again we are f***ed. At least Iafallo got his first and Kempe continues to impress.

I'm happy, Kuemper sucks, but we have a great team.

Predators are not gonna get far playing prevent defense. Awful team. At No point were they even dictating the game. Failure is upon them this season.

Let's quit the **** on the backup goalie narrative. No idea what Doughty was doing not hanging back. Take the point and move on.

Normally I'd agree with you but I take it you didn't watch the first period.

Dug ourselves out of a hole and went for the kill in overtime before it could go to a shootout, don't blame them for having zero confidence in a SO tonight.

Doughty was joining the play, but the puck got overplayed, was unfortunate but the least of the issues tonight.

Negative. He's the reason this went to overtime in the first place. He's just not good.

I did watch the first he messed up it happens to Quick as well. I just don't get the pitchfork and torches.

I mean, he's visibly shaky, let in two softies that got Nashville into the game when they had no business being into it, and did nothing to inspire confidence in the rest of the game. I get it that he's a backup and you aren't gonna always get a Vezina performance out of them, but this one reminds people too much of Zatkoff, and that's the reason for the sour taste.

6 of the last 9 games at home against Nashville, 5 of the last 6, and the last 4, have gone to at least OT. They haven't beaten Nashville at home in regulation since 2013.

The Kings are 4-2-3 in those 9 games, for 11 points. The Preds, 5-1-3, for 13 points.

If it was Zatkoff, it would have been 6-0. Even comparing him to Kuemper is giving Zatkoff way too much credit.

Kuemper played poorly, but he made several saves down the stretch to help the team earn a point. The fact that the team got a point out of this game was wonderful, considering they would have just lay down and took a beating last year.

Kind of surprised by the amount of people upset right. Heard the score was 3-0 after 2 periods and I thought all hope was lost. Then I find out we somehow managed to steal a point after being down 3 goals and I was thrilled. Not saying you all should be happy after a loss, but this team would've folded like an accordion last season. Let's save the Zatkoff comparisons until we actually start going on a losing streak.

I'm just excited that Iafallo finally popped his cherry. Hopefully he'll get some more now that he's got that weight off his shoulders.

I know we got a point after being down 3-0 but omg Cammy , Pearson , Kopitar , Muzzin all had chances to put us ahead this was a heart breaker I hate losing the way we did . f*** man. Kopitar and Pearson switched to close and Kopitar got poke checked . Hurts man hurts but stole a point . Let's go baby next one seems so far away wow I haven't been this excited to watch Kings in a long time , it's crazy. I'm loving this team right now . The youngsters are here to play

Kuemper isn't Quick. He's a back up goalie. Lets remember that. I don't think I have ever seen him play before this season..but, his stats aren't terrible. Like, Stevens said, he made a few saves to make sure we made it to OT...be thankful, tis the season ;)

i mean the flak kuemper is catching is justified to some extent, he was shaky. he bobbled several pucks that he was just gathering with his own stick and was very slow to cover them up. shaky.

all things considered it could have been worse but there was nothing about his play that exuded confidence

It's kind of silly, there wasn't one gripe about Kuemper before tonight, he was rolling a 1.92 and a .928. Even after tonight's stinker, he's still at .909 and 2.5, roughly around slackers like Bishop, Lehtonen, Gibson, Varlamov, and Schneider. Oh, and still better than Tukka Rask.

This team has 22 points - They had 25 at the end of November last year,. I don't see much of a reason to freak out about a backup goalie who is 2-0-1 in his 3 starts. I realize expectations are higher, but FFS he has a better points per start average than Quick.
