My dad was a guest professor at the University of Heidelberg in the 1980s and is fluent, so I grew up around the German language. I studied it in school to further refine it. Unfortunately, it's out of practice so my vocabulary has fallen out of practice, but I can pick up on the hockey vocabulary by context watching the broadcast. Because I "had" it from a young age, it's a language I can just think in, if you know what I mean. This is unlike my knowledge of Mandarin, where I'm kind of rapidly translating back and forth between it and English to make sense of it.

Does that make sense?

It is. Impossibly tough. In terms of Grammar, I know more about English than I do about my native German. At some point (university level) it gets impossible to understand. At least for me.

Lambert has not been impressive to me. Kind of a turnover machine and couple of bad penalties.

I was high on him during draft time but his stock has kinda been going down.
