how is Germany going to handle this pace with 14 guys?
It's not a lot of guys, but if you think about it, 9 forwards with an even distribution of ice time is 20 minutes each. The best forwards on teams play that much in general so everyone should be well enough conditioned to handle that. Now I expect Stutzle and Peterka to play 30 minutes each, but they're good enough I don't mind them out there at little bit tired.
I'd be more worried about the 5 D with no real studs like a Seider to rely on, but everyone has played a game where you lose a D to injury early so everyone's got to pla a little more. It's more ice time for a bunch of sub par D I'd be most worried about. That an they've lost their best 2 goalies.
