Would be pretty embarrassing for the Finns to lose this one. There's always a chance. Still, I am confidently going to say that Finland takes this. Sucks for Germans as I was really looking forward to their team this year but corona and Seider's decision really harmed their team. Stutzle and Peterka are great, but the drop in talent after them is huge. Losing Ancicka was devastating and that defence isn't good.

I am going to say 4-2 to Finland. Lambert, Lundell, Heinola and Järventie score for the Finns, Stutzle gets 2 for Germans.

6-1 Fin really liked Pärssinen and Lambert against USA, second pp unit was very solid overall aswell.

Finland usually starts slow. I don't know if Germany can win, but I'm not sure Finland will play a great match.
Yeah, I expect a pretty unimpressive match from us, but absolutely a win especially in these circumstances. Our best game in round robin will be against Canada, win or lose. That's just the way we roll.

Anyone know if the third goalie can skate? Maybe 4th line wing or 7D?

I feel bad for Germany.. I see this tourney as a massive gap between top 5 and bottom5. I have my Czechs as the best of the bottom 5 (with zero chance of medalling) but if Germany had a full roster with Reichel and Seider, I think they were better than us and could've made some noise.

lol

You need more than just knowing skating to play hockey at this level.

I mean...many goalies probably can play as forwards, but not at this level...not even close. This is not a beer league.

Too bad no Seider. Looking forward to seeing how good Stuetzle can be.

I'm still somehow cheering for Germany to sneak into the QF. After all this they have had to go through, that would be a huge reward for the players and staff.

Germany will most likely have the best player on the ice and now, out of necessity, he will be playing more minutes.

I give Finland a 55% chance of winning. But I wouldn't be surprised if Germany wins.

Finland wins this one with ease, Lundell will eat Stutzle alive...

About time to talk some new Tiki-talk Finland!

Esa Tikkanen put up the real heavy points in his heyday in the juniors - about time somebody else in Finland get into some 'eavy scoring in the juniors. Can you dig it Lundell?! . Germany got only 14(!) players to come up against Finland. Do the countin' ya self, folks. Expect no mercy if Finland ain't taking any prisoners in this game - then it'll be a massacre no more and no less.
