I imagine germany would've been happy to hit intermission only down by 1...

The second goal in the dying seconds was a pity. And I would say a mistake by both the goalie and the defender on the crease. Otherwise Germany got a reasonable attitude to the game: Don't skate more than is necassary, try to save some energy every time possible.

Is the ice in bad condition or are the Finns fumbling the puck due to skill issues? So many missed one timers or slipping puck on the wrong side of the blue line.
Head not in the game is the most likely option. I'd imagine the ice been in top condition.

The ever-so-hated-of-one-of-the-Räty-brothers-little-brother makes 2-0 for Finland in the dyin' seconds of the first period. Never understand the hatred ...

Sloppy players plain and simple, 1/3 of the team shouldn't be there, some very questionable names on the team.
Why you so damn negative about everything? I don't disagree that some players shouldn't be there but its like 3-4 players and most haven't played in a while. Give the guys a chance.

I expected more from Stutzle, but it might take him a couple games to get his legs going. He hasn’t played in many months.

Got to love Lambert. Looks outstanding.

He’s not on McDavids level nor am I saying he’ll be as good as him, but as I mentioned before stylistically he reminds me of him.

He’s an excellent skater and really good on his edges, lots of crossovers in his strides while he skates.

Fun player to watch when he winds it up with the puck.
