I never played hockey at a high level...I did play baseball at a highish level. It is 100% more of a slap in the face when your opposition just totally stops playing. You don't go running around laying them out or double shifting your top line...But you play the game. This isn't Peewee house hockey.

Avs and Devils are now my teams.

Think of the math 5 games played by newfoundlanders in the 2019-2020 season. There's 23 players per game, 82 games, 31 teams. That's less than 1 percent of 1 percent of total game time.

That is the reaction Stuetzle showed already today, he is pissed. Cause in those Games you learn your single skill doesnt bring you anything, when the Team cant compete.
With those Goalies you are off from any Chance.
I saw some talented older Goalies in DEL2 the last Seasons, a few swtiched to DEL. But i dont see talent on both Goalies who are in the Net.

agreed. Stuetzle has looked good on the cycle but he has 0 to work with. The German goalies have been atrocious. this game should be 5-1

No need to stop scoring. Just don't celebrate. Give the scorer a fist bump and get ready for the faceoff.

People on here if Canada didn’t score as much and sat back: “Lol Canada only won by a few goals against a depleted German team!”

People on here if Canada runs up the score: “Canada is so disrespectful in continuing to play hard”.

Cannot win with these cry babies.

Yeah as someone who played hockey at a decently high level I always hated it when the other team let up if they had a big lead. Almost sends the message that we weren't worth their effort.
