This is a bloodbath, this game will mean absolutely nothing for the rest of Canada. We didn't even know if Mercer would get to play.

The organizers only tried to help Canada of course because they are patriotic, but in this case obviously only people without perspective has been involved.

Why didn’t Canada start with B2B when other teams can’t have full squads? What a joke.

I find it pretty disrespectful to stop trying to score goals. Are they supposed to try and protect the German's ego or something? It sends a pretty bad message. The point of the game is to try and score as many goals more than your opponent as possible.

But those kind of 2nd games downs you and for our top players it downs you when you have to score 6 or more Goals to win a Game.
That is the reaction Stuetzle showed already today, he is pissed. Cause in those Games you learn your single skill doesnt bring you anything, when the Team cant compete.
With those Goalies you are off from any Chance.
I saw some talented older Goalies in DEL2 the last Seasons, a few swtiched to DEL. But i dont see talent on both Goalies who are in the Net.

At the top level I believe Forsberg's Swede's put up 21 on Japan. There were worse beatings in the lowest divisions when Slovakia were making their way up the divisions as a new nation.

As a player, there's nothing worse than your opponent taking pity on you. I guarantee the last thing Stutzle would want is for Canada to stop trying.
