Figured it wouldn't be long until they did. Leverkusen's been putting good pressure on BVB, but Dortmund has done a great job keeping them to the outside so that control hasn't resulted in too many highlights.
Yeah, seems like it should just be a matter of time but there’s an awful lot of traffic in Dortmund’s box.

I wonder if Terzic makes any changes at half time to try to take more control of the game before the pill-pushers snag a goal. Feels like they could keep Leverkusen from getting any great chances, but as we saw, Leverkusen doesn't need a great chance to put the ball in the net.

I'd probably make a change...my gut says Reus needs to be swapped for someone who could help them in the midfield battle and free Brandt up to play more attacking...but with Nmecha, Özcan, Bensebaini, and Süle all out, I'm not sure who they should bring on.

Reyna isn't exactly a defensive stalwart, and none of Malen / Moukoko / Adeyemi / Haller would help their build up play and possession :-/

My brain says that Reyna's more mobile than Reus and so could be more useful in the midfield battle against a team like Leverkusen...but my gut says to leave Brandt in that spot and bring Malen or Adeyemi on to give JBG & Füllkrug some more help on the break.

Well, I’m just hoping Leverkusen can find something. I think they can get some decent chances from distance.

Much more promising chances for Leverkusen to start the second half. Right now it feels just a matter of time before they score.

At what point is it a wake up call for BVB that they have to sub in someone like Papadopoulos...

If Füllkrug or Adeyemi had managed to steal that at the death I would've laughed so hard. But Leverkusen showed some real heart, fighting back for the point.

BVB caught Leverkusen napping in the first 5 minutes and then essentially didn't have another chance before 80 minutes. Can't be an unhappy with a draw.

It would have been harsh for Leverkusen if they hadn't gotten at least a point. Not quite sure why Palacios wasn't given a PK, he was clearly kicked hard inside the box.

It would've been brutal, but also hilariously Leverkusen if it had happened.

Saarbrücken now knocks Frankfurt out of the Pokal. Leverkusen and whoever advances between Dortmund and Stuttgart will be the only proper top teams left.

JBG just a tiny bit too eager on that play. Taps it in from Füllkrug's pass but offside.

Stuttgart clearly has Dortmund's number. Second pretty convincing victory over them in a short timespan.
