Sahin shouldn’t need to experiment this much with a roster so clearly meant for a 4-2-3-1

Guirassy/Beier
Adeyemi/Gittens - Brandt/Reyna - Malen/Duranville
Groß/Can - Sabitzer/Nmecha
Bensebaini/Kabar - Schlotterbeck - Anton/Süle - Ryersen/Couto

MAtS getting hurt for the rest of the season as soon as Neuer finally retired is just too on brand for ter Stegen's NT career. I'd probably just roll with Trapp/Baumann/Ortega until MAtS is back, but at this point I'm half expecting one of our young keepers to take over the job for the next decade

Hopefully Chabot takes over a starting job before the WM so it doesn't matter who we have in goal...

It'll be Nubel.

Some mix of him, Trapp, Baumann and they'll be fine. Not every spot in the squad needs to be a guy that's going to fill it for the next 5-10 years

Yeah. Since MAtS should be back for the WM, there’s no need to rush someone.

I was joking about it being just ter Stegen’s luck for him to get hurt the instant the GOAT keeper retired from the NT, only for a kid who was even better to hit the scene.

Then and there
Another messed up match going on for Dortmund. On the 2nd goal, Kobel needlessly lost the ball in a dribbling attempt, and they're trailing 2-0 at home against Bochum.

Minute before half-time, Guirassy heads in an important goal from Brandt's cross to make it 1-2.

Can equalizes from the spot (Guirassy was brought down) after an hour.

And now the match has turned around, Guirassy makes it 3-2 at 75th minute, Adeyemi with an assist.

4-2 after Bochum keeper allows Nmecha's shot slip in underneath his body.

Surprisingly Stuttgart have benched Undav, who has started all the previous matches this season.
And Wind has put Wolfsburg ahead after 20 mins in his first start of the season.

After Leweling was brought down, Millot squandered the PK, but was able to score from the rebound.

Stuttgart troubles deepen in the 2nd half after Karazor was sent off at hour mark, but can they at least hold on to the current 1-1 scoreline? They can't, Amoura immediately made it 2-1, sprinting through and finishing confidently. And soon after Amoura gets a straight red, even though there wasn't much of contact. No, ref changed it from red to yellow after VAR review.

Undav did the impossible, a 97th min equalizer for 2-2, which ended as the final score.

Sesko makes it 1-0 for Leipzig over Augsburg after clever by Openda for him. And he makes it 2-0 from a Raum cross.

Second half goals by Openda (Sesko assist) and Xavi Simons completed the easy win for Leipzig.

Leverkusen needs to be better defensively than they've been so far this season.

Interesting that Davies apparently starts at LB and Guerreiro at RB, with Kimmich in midfield. But it could be different shape when they have the possession of the ball and attack.

Apparently there were over 350 000 ticket requests for the match. Obviously you wouldn't see much from the outer seats of that large stadium, but I wonder if Bayern'n next stadium will be bigger, over 100 000 capacity.

Not that a decision needs to be made immediately, as Allianz was built in 2005, but maybe in a decade.

Leverkusen needs 6 players to stop magic Musiala dribbling before he reaches the penalty area. Olise puts the free kick wide from edge of area.
