Apparently the VGK GM seems to have burned bridges according to The Athletic, I am curious how many other Gm's will tax the crap out of him if he tries to make a deal with them, or also, what the hell he did to earn that reputation all of a sudden.

But that MAF handling was just piss poor leadership by him and the "its a business" bs doesn't fly with that one. I still hope MAF gets moved to a contender at the TDL and he's sitting there laughing at the VGK being out of the playoffs once Dallas catches up in games and takes the 8th seed.

Change of scenery could be a huge boost, who knows. I remember he was someone that had a lot of pedigree but it hasn't materialized in the NHL for him with the Rangers. But he could go to a new team, new goalie coach, etc and work his way back into being a starter like he was supposed to be. Things like that can never be taken for granted. Jack Campbell was a high pick that didn't get developed the right way in Dallas, then in LA he gets to work with some different goalie coaches and a fresh start and now he's barely hanging on to a starters job in toronto...see things can sort of work out?

Geo's play seems to improve with games. If he's getting consistent starts, he play on average will go up like above 0.900 S%. If he's slotted in with standard backup sized starts, his numbers drop sub 0.900%. If you give him the games I think he can hit that 0.910 S% 2.50 GAA benchmark of a serviceable goalie. But if you give him 20-30 games, he's more like a 0.880 S% 3.00 GAA goalie that is very ho-hum.

I suggested Greiss and a 4th round pick on the wings board. I think Greiss could be a nice veteran backup for Shesterkin in the playoffs. He's been solid historically. I think Georgiev could use a new start and see if he can compete with Nedeljkovic for the starter role. Keeping Greiss does nothing for the Wings at this point and they have three 4th round picks this year.

We have know this since last summer. He wants to be a starter which he wont be at NYR.

He is good strong starter but not the best backup. If he gets a run of games he will be very good. Played very well when Igor went down earlier in the season.

Bad attitude and bit of a dick. Punched DeAngelo and got him thrown off the team because DeAngelo pulled him up for a mistake that cost us the game.

I was always a DeAngelo guy. One of my favourite players with NYR and really despised Georgiev after that incident and the people who defended him
