He isn't a bad goalie. He just isn't a good back up. In a situation where he is the starter, or in a 1A/1B position I would anticipate he would put up a 2.50GAA and .910SV%.

He cannot thrive in his current situation.

That said, if used correctly, I think he would still be an upgrade over some of the starters in the league.
