You guys forget that Georgiev has always been a guy who can play lights out.

It's just that his frequency of Dr. Jeckyl vs Mr Hyde games has been getting worse and worse.

He's always been able to turn in amazing performances.

I remember a few earlier in the season. Honestly, our goalies need to stand on their heads every game in order to give us a chance to win because I'm still not convinced the team can carry our goalies the same as our goalies carry this team. Chalk up the one-sided play to the back to back, but this team still has issues putting the pressure on. I just hope we never lose Shesty to an injury again or its probably lights out.

I'd go as far as to say he was even better in that 50+ save win against Toronto a couple seasons ago than he was tonight!

The constant ice tilt against us and goalie heroics truly shows us we are not a move or 2 away from being a true contender. I think Drury doesn't make a splash aside from a minor deal for Geo and a Dman.
Stop with the negative thoughts Moriarity.

If I would have told you kreider would score 50 this year you probably would say “yeah sure and the Rangers will win the cup the very same season”
……oh wait!!! hehe

Frankly, I don’t get why shooting the puck after a whistle is even a big deal. Soccer players shoot into nets after whistles all the time. No one freaks out about it.
Never forget :noway:

What happened with the ref and the whistle?

Ref's blew the play dead because they "lost sight of the puck" but it was loose with the Canes goalie flat on his back and out of the play. I'm sure we would have found a way to stuff it up, but it would have 99% been a goal if they didn't stop the game

Because if a goalie isn't ready, he/she can really get hurt.

Their protection is oriented to stop shots from the front... if they turn their head or relax etc and look away and a shot hits them in a spot they're not protected they could be seriously injured or even killed.

We sure that is was the intent? Anderson's head got hit with a stick while he was on his back. I think they wanted to play it dead so he wouldn't get smacked around.

One of the worst whistle blows in recent memory. We were literally playing the puck in a broad daylight when it was blown. Had the Canes scores anytime after that, with us not scoring, it would've been egregious.

Why is it when a young player has a few not so good games we are looking to replace them? He's 20 and is going to be a stud.
Dude you bitch about people complaining but you’re just as bad

Did I say he was not going to be a stud?

Having depth on D to potentially replace our 20 year old rookie defenseman in the playoff chase as needed is not some out of this world idea lmao
