Lining up that center acquisition for the playoffs.
Can't wait to see McBain get into a game before Boldy and Rossi do

Not going to lie, as small as the chances are that McBain plays an NHL game this year, that was my first thought tooCan't wait to see McBain get into a game before Boldy and Rossi do
They've certainly taken their time with him, but he'd be up with the NHL team right now instead of Shaw if he hadn't been injured. Don't think he would've gotten in versus the Oilers, but I would've bet on him playing in San Jose and/or LA.Boldy is one of only two players in the top 20 of the 2019 that hasn't played in the NHL.

He could be a part of a + or ++. He’s having a solid year. Why? For what? He's not that valuable.

You sure seem quick to write him off, but ok. I mean Backstrom was a 28 YO rookie but that’s not the same, just a different late bloomer. A rental is another option, but yes for something. I mean Trocheck was traded for 4 pieces, so it’s not crazy to sign him and use him as a trade piece. He's a 21-22 year old fourth year college player having his very first good year, if he wasn't having a good year we wouldn't even be considering signing him, and he can become a UFA in the summer if he wants to. He'd be the third or fourth most valuable piece in what I'm guessing you want is a deal for a top six center.

Get out of here with your logicMaybe they should focus on signing him before even considering trading him
He’s not getting any ice timeWhat's up with Khusnutdinov? He was looking close to a point a game early on. Now he's at 11 points in 29 games.
