Teamwork makes the dreamworkI'll reach out. This whole series of events has seen me support more and more local, mom and pop shops than the big boys.
(not directed at you, but) That article is exactly why I don't read anything on yahoo. Their "news" is sensational click baitSweden becomes country with highest coronavirus death rate per capita
I think maybe shutting things down works??
However, Sweden has only had the highest death rate over the past week, with Belgium, Spain, Italy, the UK and France, still ahead over the entire course of the pandemic.

in a few weeks? Most of Europe has been locked down for monthsI read that part also before posting. We will see what happens in a few weeks but doesn't look good at the moment.
I don't know about clickbait.. Yahoo posted this from the telegraph which is a conservative UK paper. So if they post something like this, I think its fair considering their position.
I don't know.. they may be a late bloomer.in a few weeks? Most of Europe has been locked down for months
This article is jumping on a spike, just like this article from April 9
After Rejecting A Coronavirus Lockdown, Sweden Sees Rise In Deaths
if we follow other spikes elsewhere, they are almost always the virus getting in to a SNF, LTC or retirement home.I don't know.. they may be a late bloomer. Who knows why they're spiking now
CDC updated this: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) - Transmission
The virus does not spread easily in other ways
COVID-19 is a new disease and we are still learning about how it spreads. It may be possible for COVID-19 to spread in other ways, but these are not thought to be the main ways the virus spreads.
- From touching surfaces or objects. It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus.
another 180 on baseline information about the virus, this shit is getting really really old
I'm not sure how this is a 180 on anything. It's not hard to understand that when something is new, we don't know everything. Starting with an overabundance of caution is never a bad idea when dealing with things that can kill you. Also "This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus." should be an obvious flashing neon sigh that reads "we don't know for certain".CDC updated this: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) - Transmission

You know, people say "mindless sheep" like it's a bad thing. Honestly, what the f*** are sheep worrying about right now? They knew this all along. It was a all just ploy by big Lysol and a subversive media conglomerate trying to take our liberty! If you disagree, you’re a mindless sheep!
Am I doing it right?
Well, now that Passover is close to a year away again, not as much. You know, people say "mindless sheep" like it's a bad thing. Honestly, what the f*** are sheep worrying about right now?

Of course we can't assume it is, but.....
I think it is pretty clear at this point schools need to reopen in the Fall sans teachers and staff who are at risk. Grandma and Grandpa need to receive an antibody test, and if it isn't positive, the grandkids need to stay away from their elderly grandparents. It sucks, but it is the only way for the elderly to be truly safe. Grandparents under 65 years of age need to assess the risk for themselves.OC had 10 deaths today. 7 from a SNF
My understanding is that most of these places are locked down
The virus keeps getting in to these places is it
A) careless staff. Easy to believe but at the same time hard to believe
B) the virus is way more widespread and contagious but far less deadly than we thought and the sickest and most vulnerable are the ones that are dying
Itll be interesting to see what happens
This is a letter from a PA assemblyman
I am starting to wonder if this is more true than we realized
I am seriously starting to wonder
last i checked i haven't peddled a single conspiracy theory in my life so i don't know why you're directing that at me but whatever broThey knew this all along. It was a all just ploy by big Lysol and a subversive media conglomerate trying to take our liberty! If you disagree, you’re a mindless sheep!

It’s not “misinformation”. This is a very complex problem and they are doing the best they can with limited understanding while lives are at stake. If the worst thing is that you’ve washed your hands more than normal well, given the alternative... boo f***ing hoo. Not sure why that’s hard to understand.last i checked i haven't peddled a single conspiracy theory in my life so i don't know why you're directing that at me but whatever bro
what i'm upset about is the misinformation coming from supposedly reliable sources that just gets casually changed day to day. i'm not a scientist but right off the hop i'm being told not to touch carts, not to touch things on the grocery store shelves, wash my hands endlessly, i'm getting squirts of hand sanitizer at the door to aldi, people are going around saying to lysol all your grocery bags when you walk in the door, don't touch door handles, the list goes on.. now months later "oh jk that actually wasn't a thing"? shouldn't that have taken a grand total of a week to resolve scientifically? put the shit on a petri dish and walk away and check how many minutes/hours/days it lasts? we have states talking about reopening for weeks now and TODAY we get this important information? i'm just sick of receiving shit information every single day. can't trust anything. for all i know tomorrow i'm gonna be told it's actually a fungal spore from mars
It's a known fact Martians can't handle fungal spores, much in the same way humans can't handle Kentucky Fried. That orange stuff really burns.last i checked i haven't peddled a single conspiracy theory in my life so i don't know why you're directing that at me but whatever bro

Many people were concerned that by simply touching an object they may get coronavirus and that’s simply not the case. Even when a virus may stay on a surface, it doesn’t mean that it’s actually infectious,” Whyte was quoted.CDC updated this: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) - Transmission

Only the government can give you statistics that don’t add up to 100%.OC had 10 deaths today. 7 from a SNF

Not true, 4.6% of those who died were undecided or not sure regarding the number of comorbidity health factors they had at the time of death.Only the government can give you statistics that don’t add up to 100%.
