Oshi No Ko I can’t find anywhere to stream. Looks like it’s on some weird service. I hope it comes out on crunchyroll given how much I’m hearing about it.

I started Bocchi the Rock and love it so far. Nice low stakes anime that’s relatable.
Yeah it's weird how ONK is streamed. I use yugen so I was able to find it there.

Bocchi is one of the funniest animes I've seen. You'll have a great time with that.

This spring 2023 schedule has been really amazing. ONK and Heavenly Delusion are nearing a 10/10 animes for me, AoT and Kaguya-Sama specials did not disappoint, Demon Slayer still doing it's thing (although I enjoyed last season more). Then you have chill, wholesome shows like Insomniacs After School to just relax with. Haven't even got into Megumin or Hell's Paradise yet.

I’m only 7 episodes into Hells Paradise but it’s been good. Good opening theme as well.

- Taking a break from Ranking the King, I finished the first season like two weeks ago and I see that the new arc just started coming out, but going to wait until it completes to start it again. Awesome show, but confused as to where they are taking the story.

- I started Bluelock and this show is hype AF. Really, really well done, but again not sure where the story is heading to.

- Got in a random mood over the weekend and was binging some of my favourite Naruto episodes. The show has aged quite gracefully.

- Mob Psycho has the best openings I've seen, so well done in both craziness and music.
This last episode of Oshi No Ko...I was not prepared for Pieyon. Obviously I'm not familiar with the source material so in all earnestness...what the hell?
I really want to watch this show, but no clue where to watch it?
Anyone use anilist or mal? I use anilist for my tracking needs as I usually fail to keep my mal updated
I use MAL, but as OilLeaks wrote, I do a horrible jump keeping it updated. I was pretty good where I kept it consistently updated every two weeks or so, but I don't think I have touched it for seven months so yeah...

I finished Trigun Stampede last night. It's probably an 8 or 9 out of 10 from me. Maybe just a step below Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

And as someone who watched the 98 version but didn't recall much, this series had some pretty neat Easter eggs/references.

Trigun is probably a top 3 anime of all time for me (really nostalgic), should I watch this one or keep with the original to not taint my view?

Watch it for an episode or two (if you can spare the time) and keep an open mind. I think it all comes together at the end. It isn't a remake but more of a retelling. The characters in this version don't start off where they are emotionally in the 98 version. And I think they gave Knives better motivation/character.

Apparently this one follows the manga more than 98. It's been years since I watched 98 so I enjoyed looking up the references.

The animation took me a bit to get used to but loved it by the end. The music is great too.

I had other stuff typed up but deleted it because it may have been a bit spoilery.

Not sure what’s considered S2 of Ranking. Did you finish the 23 episodes? Because it goes places.

Mob has the best intros. In fact I think they get better every season.

I just finished S1 of Dr. Stone and loved it. Gave up on Psycho-Pass. Really like S1 but S2 didn’t hit the same way.

When did Crunchyroll lose the rights to Bleach? I wanted to start an OG run to the new season, but I disappointingly saw that Hulu stole it (which I do not have).

Because of that I started 86, which not sure what to make of it yet. I recently finished Bluelock, a superb show and a must-watch if you're a fan of anything sports anime.

It might not be the second season, but it's the treasure arc that I am talking about. I am going to wait until it's done.
Gave up on Psycho-Pass.
S1? Sub or dub? If subbed, you gotta be at an ultra advanced subtitle reading level to get it, way too in-depth and way too fast with a ton of info within the subtitles. I think it's a great show though once you pass the "explaining the entire world and storyline" episodes.

When Blood War started. Viz sold the rights to Disney internationally and Hulu in America a few days before it was set to air.

86 is in my top3 of best animes of all-time. The writing and direction is just amazing, they put so much effort in every shot and every little detail. Top that with Sawano OST and you have magic.

Who cares Bleach was only good for like two arcs. I'd rather want to know when the new One Punch Man season is coming out. Other than that series the shonen genere is pretty much dead anyways...

Depends how you define "dead." 8 of the top 10 selling manga this year are shonen. The last 2 are seinen.

Only because people are consuming something en masse, it doesn't mean it's good, just look at the MCU. So when I say shōnen is mostly dead, I was talking rather about the quality rather than popularity.

No joke, I binge-watched the entire first season (or the first twelve episodes in the last two days). It's like they pilot those Tachikoma's from Ghost in the Shell in a sort of depressed universe similar to that of Akame ga Kill! with some Violet Evergarden vibes thrown in. Really loving it so far.

Glad you like it. There's just something about trauma anime that hits different.

I'm not a big mecha anime enjoyer but the new Gundam show Witch from Mercury has similar tones of trauma and war crimes if you're interested. It's the first gundam I've watched, so it's a little confusing to me, but the emotional scenes hit really good.

Gundam Wing was my first mecha show and it is really well done, one of my top 5 animes of all time but I admit I am super biased because it has a ton of nostalgic feelings for me. It's not perfect with a lot of weird interaction between characters, but a ton of attention to detail with a lot of present-day modern Earth locations being featured in the show. It has a dark side to how these pilots had a mission, but now are sort of useless and not needed anymore as the show goes on (a big-time political thriller if you like that sort of stuff). It doesn't have the best premise but goes very in-depth with the premise though.

Because of that, you might prefer the OG Gundam series, which is centred around David vs Goliath/Us vs them mentality. It was made in the 80s so the animation is probably outdated, but the storyline is ridiculously good and you feel the struggle the team goes through in war. I will definitely give Witch from Mercury a try though!

The last Gundam series (Iron-Blooded Orphans) was one of my favourites (albeit with S1 being much better than S2), similar focus on the brutality of war. My favourite Gundam related series I’ve seen recently has to be Thunderbolt. Just brutal in the best way.

I didn’t even know about the treasure arc so thanks.

For psycho-pass I did the dubs. Season 2 just didn’t grab my attention as much as season 1 but I’ll go back and check it out again.

I never watched Season 2 of the show so it might be bad, I only finished the main arc in Psycho-Pass and I thought it was great. Watching the spin-offs of the show was something on my to-do list, but I found myself watching other original anime shows instead.
