- I don't know if it's because Bunny Senpai and Kaguya-sama are much better shows overall, but SNAFU sort of lost it with me the last couple of seasons. It started off so strong and then sort of dissipated to the finale.

- @oil Leaks I started watching Ranking Kings and it's awesome! Definitely really dark at times though, was not expecting it but I do value it because life isn't pretty and I think it makes it much deeper in the end.

- I did finish Lycoris Recoil recently and it was your "standard" OP'd main protagonist like Superman that crumbles to the weight of something minor. I enjoyed it, but don't expect anything revolutionary if you lot ever watch it.

I really tried to finish the third season of snafu but man... It felt like a really long sit with each episode. I loved the previous two seasons but the third season is a lot.

I think what happened is the bloke who made the manga decided to stop focusing on the main protagonist since his "problem" was solved and focused on the red hair girl during the last arc and nobody cared. That's how it felt to me personally.

E: Food Wars suffered a bit from the same problem. The ending arc was so rushed that none of it felt genuine and you finished with a bad taste in your mouth for an anime that was ridiculously good for about 99%.

Kaguya and Bunny Senpai are vastly superior I'd agree but I liked the third season well enough. There were some random as hell moments (impromptu rap battle?) that kind of stood out. It did wander a TON and some of the conflict felt rather forced but I was mostly satisfied with the conclusion.

I've only seen the first season of Kaguya.

It was gorgeous animation and I think it was very wholesome but I get the sense we are headed for a tragic ending. Maybe not but it kind of gives me that vibe.

From what I read of the manga, it is very good. I read roughly the first 70 chapters

Episode 01 of ONK was really good. Had a feeling it would deliver, and it sure did. Written by the same author as Kaguya-sama.

You should watch the later seasons. Swear it only gets better. The production side from the anime also just improves everything.

Also old news but can't wait until Pluto gets a date. Easily my most anticipated anime for this year got to love Urasawa Monster is a classic. Pretty loaded year overall when looking at Spring and other stuff due for this year. Huge fan of the Frieren Beyond Journey's End Manga, Uzumaki I still think is due for this year and Apothecary Diaries also looks really interesting,

I thought 1st and 2nd season of SNAFU were really good and I agree that the 3rd season has been a bit odd, but I do still enjoy it. I only have 3-4 episodes left and I've had trouble binging it. I think Bunny Girl Senpai is a good comparison, which I think is a better show (Sakuta is one of my favorite MCs). Kaguya-Sama I feel is a different genre as it's a pure rom-com plus it's in a league of it's own.

Also I absolutely loved Lycoris Recoil. The first time I watched it i only liked it but the second time around I really loved it. Yes it has an OP MC, but her character and especially the VA deserve all the praise (I'm happy both were at least nominated in crunchyroll awards).

Episode 01 of ONK was really good. Had a feeling it would deliver, and it sure did. Written by the same author as Kaguya-sama.
I had no idea were this first episode was gonna go and holy heck did it caught me off guard. I am a bit worried where the story is going to go, but I'll keep watching it for sure.

I also started Ranking of Kings. I thought it looked like a good relaxing watch with good word of mouth. I was also surprised how dark some of it has been.

Same, I get a lot of Hunter x Hunter vibes from it. You have King Bojji or Gon where people are being killed around them in horrific ways and they're just frolicking through a sunflower field with a huge grin on their face. That's honestly the only way I can describe these types of shows lol.

Started Carole & Tuesday yesterday. Not quite sure what to make of it so far, but it's got some good music and a few funny scenes.

Anyone watch Psycho-Pass? I really enjoyed the 1st season.

I’m still working my way through Ranking of Kings. Hells Paradise and Vin Land Saga2 I watch as the dubs come out.

Still waiting for Attack on Titan part 3 to be dubbed.

Anime has really been providing me good entertainment.

I'm also enjoying Heavenly Delusion.

Heavenly Delusion, Insomniacs After School and Oshi no Ko are the three shows I'm watching this season
I’ll probably start Oshi no Ko when the seasons finished. It was on my radar to watch but I think it was one of the last ones to start airing so I didn’t get to the premiere

Oshi No Ko is really good. Probably never tops the first episode, but I really enjoy it.
Also checked out Insomniacs After School and now I've binged all episodes. What a wholesome anime this is.
Will check out Heavenly Delusion next. Thanks for the recommendations!

I'm also still slowly going through FMAB, but been getting more into it lately. Also watching Konosuba as a guilty....pleasure.

Next on the list:
To Your Eternity
Fruits Basket
My Love Story with Yamada-Kun at lvl999
Hell's Paradise

This last episode of Oshi No Ko...I was not prepared for Pieyon. Obviously I'm not familiar with the source material so in all earnestness...what the hell?

I really liked season 1 of To Your Eternity. Still have only watched part of season 2 but I remember not being a big fan of the manga arc that goes on in season 2

Fruits Basket was really good. A beautiful remake and one of my top animes of all time.
The OP and EDs are absolute bangers

I'm also thinking of going to finally see Suzume no Tojimari. Love Makoto Shinkai and Radwimps!
Just went to see this and I liked it. Again I had no idea where this movie was going but I enjoyed the ride. A good balance with the humor and the visuals were amazing. After the first view, I would rate it similar to Weathering With You. Will have to watch it a few more times to really see where it lands. 8+/10 for now.

Oshi No Ko I can’t find anywhere to stream. Looks like it’s on some weird service. I hope it comes out on crunchyroll given how much I’m hearing about it.

I started Bocchi the Rock and love it so far. Nice low stakes anime that’s relatable.
