So I finished Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic? Fooffummufo yesterday. Solid shows, but I think it suffers from stereotypes such as random big breasts, male perverts, and the lot. There were a lot of funny moments which I enjoyed concerning this, especially in Foofumuffomo. However, I argue that it's a show that anime fans can enjoy, but not one where people who are getting into anime will like. As I mentioned before, there is a lot of elements here for the people who hate anime would have a field day with. And honestly I cannot blame them, even if I liked it. I could not take the serious parts...well, seriously as the show seemed lighthearted throughout. It isn't anything special, but it displays its strengths and maximizes on those. 7/10

Going to start FMA: Brotherhood tonight so looking forward to that.

I enjoyed Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu way more then Season 1 of FMP

Speaking of sports anime, anyone seen Cross Game? Probably my favorite sports anime of all time.

I’ll have to look into that one as well. So much to watch.

The Fullmetal Alchemist live action film is supposed to be on Netflix next month too. Was really vocal about why this was even needed so not sure if I will watch it still.

Definitely give Cross Game a watch. I'm not even a fan of baseball and I loved it.

Kakegurui - just came out on Netflix I believe, I just started watching it but the animation is excellent. I've really enjoyed it so far.

Sadly caught up on Yowamushi Pedal and now am waiting weekly for greatness. Really needed to get into something else so I finally, finally got around to watching Eureka Seven. All good so far.

With all the Full Metal Panic talk from before I think I might also rewatch that before the new series comes out since it has been forever since I watched it.

Caught a 2013 anime called "The Devil is a Part-Timer!" on Netflix. Halfway through, but this really is an underrated show.

Whoever came up with the idea of having Satan be a burger flipper is low key genius.

I binged on Ergo Proxy a couple weeks ago on Prime (then it disappeared), actually liked the English voice acting better than the Japanese...more dynamic and not as flat.

Before Ergo, I watched Girls Last Tour, it was OK, probably only so much that can be done with a couple characters, largely by themselves.

Currently watching the subbed version of Cowboy Bebop. Not sure what I think of Ed, but like I like everything else.

I'm a fan of Erogy Proxy. Bought the Geneon DVD collection back in the day and I recently got the Funimation one on Blu-Ray.

Is one version particularly better than the other? I'm actually fine with cartoons on DVDs, they scale up pretty well, and the DVD is about $15 cheaper, but less discs, less swapping.

I generally go for Blu-Rays right now but I think they are usually worth it. I mean, it comes with the DVDs as well. I got my DVD collection back in like 2008 or something like that for $25 since Best Buy was offing their anime stuff at the time so everything was half off. The DVD collection you can't get anymore.

Show is so funny. Loved it when it came out.

As far as Ergo Proxy goes I think I mentioned it in one of the older threads but I just could not get into it. I may need to re-attempt it one day.

Dubbed version of Bebop is classic though A+ Toonami gold.

Ergo Proxy really wants you to pay close attention at all times but then it gets sloooooooooow and makes it super hard.

Been trying to watch more anime this year. So far i have watched: Fate/Zero, FMA:B, Made in Abyss, Toradora and just finished the first season of Attack on Titan yesterday.

And from currently airing i'm following 5: DB Super, Violet Evergarden, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, Pop Team Epic and A Place further than the universe.

I haven't watched much anime, so i have like 20-30 shows i want to watch.

Btw, any suggestions on good action anime? Action anime tends to be my favorite.
