I'm a big fan of the "retroclones" of D&D that have come out over the past decade (or two). Labyrinth Lord/OSRIC etc. But currently, Old School Essentials is the big one...a really nicely-presented and organized re-presentation of the classic B/X system. The books are just gorgeous.

Also, I backed the MOTHERSHIP kickstarter. Looking forward to getting that box of goodies some time this year.
As a fan of tabletop role-playing games, I can relate to your appreciation of the "retroclones" of D&D. It's fantastic to see the classics being updated and re-released in a way that honors the original system while also improving on the presentation. The gorgeous books of Old School Essentials really stand out in this respect.

I think this goes in the Geek Thread, but please tell me I'm not the only one ready to acclaim HBO's "The Last Of Us" as the singularly best video game adaption ever, by a margin so wide that it beggars belief to even measure.

IF ONLY PEDRO PASCAL COULD GROW A BEARD yeah that's my only gripe.

They threw everything but the kitchen sink (and who knows maybe one from the USS Reliant wreckage is there and I didn't see it) into the new episode of Picard. That was a fun one.

This weeks episode of Star Trek Picard.

You forgot the Attack Tribble!

I honestly got goose bumps seeing the the movie-era Enterprise again. I knew it was coming, but it was some nice fan service.

I'm addicted to Hogwarts Legacy. It's awesome. Dog sitting for my parents though so will be away from xbox for almost 2 weeks 😢
I just finished the main story. Lots to do in the game. Fun just to fly around on your broom and view the scenery. Took forever to download/install on PS5 even with a purchased disk (my only gripe).
