I really have enjoyed the effort Team USA in these first four games...but they need to find guys to finish. Someone needs to step up and put the puck in the net.
My opinion of Peter Laviolette drops a little every game the US plays...just a bad game, we had plenty of chances with 5 on 3s, but they can't score to save their lives...this is terrible.

I am getting really sick of saying the US played well, but just couldn't put the puck in the net. Well, they're four games in now, they NEED to start scoring.
Exciting game, Sweden played great defense, USA not capitalizing on those two 5-on-3's killed them. DiPietro should start the rest of the games, he was great.

The good news is the defense and goaltending are playing awesome. I think DiPietro is the man for the rest of the tournament.
The bad news is the offensive players are MIA. I think maybe they should switch Cole and Tkachuk, put Cole with Gionta and Gomez.

Agreed. Forgot about him. he did look good.
Now, if only Christian Bäckman can find his passing game again. He is good at dumping the puck on the net, but that is about it.. in this tourney.
