hopefully you're right, but a loss like this hurts in this nation

Canadians have no difficulty understanding how you feel. No need to get too down though. Upsets happen, and Sweden will bounce back from this.

GDT Threads

I've just noticed a trend - Russian GDTs so far are the longest GDTs, with the most views. Are we really that contoversial?

Great win for Russia!
I want to congratulate all team Russia fans, and also the sweeds fans for always beeing classy (well most of the times ;) )

Good luck against SVK!

Thanx. No really there was only one team on the ice today. Sweden can only match up to Russia's best if they play totally disciplined and have their best squad. Today there was neither. Russia skates too fast, holds on to the puck too good, and didn't look as lost as against the Slovaks. And Nabokov was impeccable.

Maybe, just maybe it's Russia's year this time around?

after that game against Slovaks yesterday i was so damn down nobady even wanted to talk with me ! I know what you mean !

I'm starting to think that, if there is such a thing like a Swedish system, that our NHL pro:s have really hard to adapt to it. Maybe it's too alien compared with how the transatlantic game is played?

I'd like to see some of that from you after the Olympic break Nabby !! My hockey pool has suffered mightily because of you.

No...

People want to see Russia get beat. :)

No, seriously though... The Russia Slovakia game was tremendous. Plus CBC carried it so it got a large viewing audience.

I wonder if puting Frolov with Datsyuk and Kovalev would be a bad idea
Why change a line that works? I think the Kovalchuk - Datsyuk - Kovalev line works very good, which, I must admit, surprises me!

Finally getting to see the goals on CBC. A lot of hard, accurate shots.

I absolutely love when Ovechkin scores a goal. Some players are annoying with their celebrations as you can tell it's only meant to show up the opposition, but you can tell Ovechkin is just genuinely excited every time he scores. Very refreshing.

Can you tell us something about that Rus-Swe game Mr.Moses ?

The game was lost at 1 - 0, Sweden needed the first goal... We need Tallinder and Lilja. Tjärnqvist, Ronnie Sundin and Bäckman was horrible.
