Don Cherry's least fav type of goal.. off the D stick and top shelf. Bad break for Canada. Nice one for Swedes.

Canada has a history of late game heroics... could get good here

I gotta say that I think the hype train on Owen Power needs to be toned way down. I don’t think his skating has been that impressive tbh.

Yeah he looks painfully average against just European stars.

Well atleast this emphasizes how important it is to have nhlers there, this game was boring as HeLL
The whole tournament has been much more competitive without NHLers though.

We watch the World Juniors every year and that hockey f***ing sucks.

The main problem in his game is overworking situations with the puck. He holds onto the puck for too long too often when teammates are avaliable. Slows down the pace of the game and ruins fastbreak opportunities.

He has undeniable talent but this is a significant flaw.

I mean he’s still very young so I don’t expect him to dominate against veterans. But I was expecting his physical tools to stand out and they really haven’t as much as I thought they would.

He's already won a World Championships against Euro stars.

He looked WAY above his peer group at World Juniors IMO.

He'll be awesome.
I'm not saying he's not going to be great. But it's clear he's got more development to do because he looks very pedestrian in this tournament.
